I worked on These two promos way back when i was an editor in Taiwan in 1999 working in post production. There was no FCP, Avid or Premiere. I had to make all the layers work on screen with a Sony switcher, 3 Digibeta decks and a still store (Chyron) that holds 90 seconds of uncompressed video. These days I edit videos on my 15 inch Mac Pro Laptop that cost maybe 0.1 % the cost of the system I used just a few years ago.

Discovery Channel Asia Promos

Granite Expo TV Spot and In-store Promo
We were contracted to do a 30 second TV spot and 5 minute in-store promo piece for a local home remodeling business, the client wanted a different kind of TV spot (from the normal "BUY NOW !!!" stuff you see on local TV) to promote his brand new high-end showroom.
The Piece was shot, edited, color corrected and finished in HD. The logo animation 25 seconds in was requested by the client =P, We didn't really apprciate the design
The TV spot of the piece is finished in English, Spanish and Chinese. You can see it on ABC, Univision, Telemudo, HGTV and Bay Area Chinese television stations
